Get this: When I imagined my fellow employees taking me out to celebrate, I got nervous. I was in a new town. I didn’t like the idea of going out and having a few drinks and something bad happen.
Well, something bad did happen. Usually, I have so much going on, drinking a drink or two doesn’t even cross my mind. In fact it was the last thing on my mind at the time because I was too busy selling at my job and creating my site.
But they bothered me and bugged me to go out, so I gave in. They bought me drink after drink. Of course, me being a lightweight, I bought a bottle of beer, dumped half of it down the sink and spit most of the shots they bought back into it.
I didn’t want to offend anyone. When the night was over, I noticed I was in paid parking. So I decided I’d better cross the road into an overnight parking spot. About 30 seconds after moving my truck, I looked into my rear view mirror with fear. “I knew something bad would happen!” I thought to myself.
What happened? You guessed it! I was getting pulled over.
Needless to say, I spent daunting hours and a lot of money paying for my DUI. It was lesson well learned.
The main lesson was – be careful what you think about! Now, you don’t have to worry about bad thoughts or be afraid of them. Positive ones are always more powerful than negative. However, notice how I was scared about going out because I thought something bad would happen.
What would have happened if I would’ve thought something more positive and feel good about it?
Who knows? But I do know… I probably wouldn’t have attracted that circumstance into my life. In fact, I would’ve probably took one look at my truck and said “to hell with it! I’ll take the parking ticket” and called a cab.
You see, in society people are conditioned all the time to focus on their problems. Well, if you only focus on your problems, you’re repeating to the universe that you have problems – so you’ll continue to have them!
What if, for only one week, you started using your powerful imagination to choose to feel good, to be thankful, to imagine wonderful things happening to you… to attracting anything you desire whether it be control, money, safety, power or romance?
It’s not positive thinking. But it always pays to start thinking positively.
Listen, there’s a good chance you may never need any other part of those articles if you can master the secret in this article.
“What you think about creates itself in your world.”
You’ll notice that in most of my products I always say “Change the way you’re thinking on the inside, and the rest of your world changes too.”
And that’s so true!
Most people make the mistake thinking that the world is nothing but a series of random events when the opposite is…
FACT: You create your own circumstances. And you do that with your thoughts!
So what can you do right now to prove to yourself that what I’m saying is true?
There are a lot of things you can do. But I highly recommend what Dr. Joe Vitale suggests. In the movie “The Secret” (http://www.thesecret.tv) he suggests to start being thankful for what you have now.
Begin to feel good. Choose right now to feel good because something marvelous happens…
Those good things begin to attract more good things and those good things compound and accumulate more and more. Don’t entertain for one second anything negative.
Remember, you have the choice and power to control how you feel and what you think.
Start feeling good!
